Background

Finding myself stuck in drawing lots of girls, so decided to mix it up and get some background work going. This was copied from another painting for initial practice.

Anyway I though this might have been the kind of thing in her past.

Trying to get into drawing in this style a bit more, I'm really enjoying it. We had a talk on character design in Uni, it was a little recap for me, and reminded me to mess a little with proportions, I think I'm going to do some more proportion works.

Little Mix!

Are my favourite to win X-factor, think they are fully awesome and felt like drawing them. I wanted to show how vibrant they are with the line work!

Fashion !

Drawing up a picture I liked of a girl on the runway. Liked the way the clothes fell and wanted to draw it!

Cards

Here's a picture of  a man playing cards with his daughters. Reminded me of when me and my sister would play with my Dad, my sister would always win and I have a suspicion that he let her.

Character design

Some character designs for my comic. We have to have the start off bible ready in two weeks so looking at a lot of things i can put into it.

Here is a picture I drew of a native Indian girl, I was having a play with blue lighting, and different line shading in photoshop. Hope you like it.

I thought I would post the (sort of) process of this one, because I quite like the colours without the line also. Here is the final image a woman in the 70's! Looking at fashion back then, pretty....

Felt like drawing a grumpy princess, who is rather annoyed at the massive dress and bows.

Jewellery Designs

I'm working with my friend who makes jewellery, she wanted a drawing that she could put inside of a ring and put resin on top of so that you can wear one. :D

I was very excited about this, we decided together, after her mentioning 'Dia de Muertos' (day of the dead) designs that have a lot of bright colours in them that we wanted to incorporate that sort of style with our collection. So we decided to have a Japanese, Geisha image, because it is something that fascinates both of us.  From this we thought of a few over things we could include in the collection.

But here are some rough start off images that would go inside one of the rings.

Bit o' animation

I've been busy with flat story board work that I missed doing some animation, so did a quick run, it's not finished at all, this is the starting point. It flashes because I also need to complete a couple of frames. But yes, hoping to give this some character after.

These are some concepts I came up with quickly, for 'Girl on a train/what was in there'. Which is an idea I pitched to a group of friends that I'm doing a short with outside of Uni.

Nadily

Here are a few images I did for my main character in my Graphic Novel, which I am doing on my Masters course. It's going to be a long year! I was thinking, I like the grey tones of them, but I would like some colour in the book, but I know that can be quite costly if it does get printed.

I like this one, with a hint of colour, her expression is very apt for my character as well.

Here is an image of a girl, had this idea for a short film that I will be collaborating on with a few friends outside of uni, we're all thinking of ideas so this was just a start off image for me, details and storyboard to come!

Sansa Stark

Been reading 'Game of Thrones', I've seen the series but I wanted to read the books too, both are really good. This is Sansa Stark and her wolf Lady, I won't spoil anything about them for those who haven't read or watched.

Obi

My cat Obi died today, he was run over, in a quiet estate in Gibraltar, the assholes just left him even though he was still alive.
Obi was a big character to my family and I. We named him Obi because we got him the day Sir Alec Guiness died, it was a mutual yes for the name, eleven years ago :(

I wanted my family to remember the funny things about this snotty (in every sense of the word), pushy cat-

Gesture

Some late night gesture drawings, my pen nearly ran out, nearly. It was like one pound in Japan, but any replacement is expensive over here :( My one regret in life, I should've bought more!!...and less toys....nah should've got more toys too :D
