Stuffs!

Hey all! Above is a poster for the local pantomime, here in Gibraltar! It's currently WIP but soon it will be digitally coloured (it's traditionally inked) and text will be added. The panto is "King Arthur" and I've had a lot of fun doing this poster so far. PS I'm also in it, and that would be Chris my boyfriend in the stocks in this image. #Life in the fast lane!

Here's a character design, a warm up drawing before working on my new project- a web comic called, "Kingdom, come." Details to follow soon.

I've also just created a new portfolio site, if you guys want to check it out click this-> Steph's Portfolio!

Background practice

Didn't spend that long on this but I like the roughness of it and how it turned out. Just searching around for the kind of style we want for our comic. It's becoming a long process but we'll get there.

Another, which was quick:

Diary

Hey all. I got this sketchbook from a friend, it's a sketch a day type of diary. Here is the last 20 days of my life. Stay tuned for more, plan to do the whole year (scary) Also please forgive some of the drawings, I some how decided the best way to tackle this would be pen straight to paper...

Colour Tests

This is a quick colour test/experiment for a character for the comic Chris and I are working on. Have a rough story outline now, a few pages of script done...character design is up in the air at the moment though as we're both going through the motions, but it'll get there! I did this sketch of one of the characters (what we think she might look like) and felt like doing some different colours on her, more for the overall feel of the comic than of her (if that makes sense.)

You can see what Chris has been working on here- http://chriszammit.blogspot.com/2013/02/henry.html

PS let me know which colours you like?

Ladies of the game

Couple fan art ladies here. Both really good characters and both opposites. Have a love/hate relationship with these books. Atm I'm loving them, but no doubt I'll be hurling the book across the room in a few hundred pages.

Lovely.

So back home in Gibraltar, and one of the best things about being here is my cat! Here's a little tale
that will inspire joy and love aplenty...

                                              Here's my cat "Luna".

She's about 1000000 years old so has weird askew legs...
Anyway, it's nice having a cat on your bed :3

Until...

Ultimate cat-vom.

Cleaning cat vomit from my carpet at 7a.m (everyone's favourite hour). At least she had the decency to move from the bed...

New comic designs

As I've said before, working on a new comic. Here's a couple ideas. Mainly because the opening scene involves a forest I was looking at different and interesting trees. I want a thin, simple line and a good colour concept for this comic, I want it to look very different from "Machination".
I'm thinking about colouring this in water colour wash, for a more earthy feel :)
