Merry Christmas everybody!

Hope you all have a great holiday :)

Warrior Girl

This is a true story...

Sweeties...

Lovely.

So back home in Gibraltar, and one of the best things about being here is my cat! Here's a little tale
that will inspire joy and love aplenty...

                                              Here's my cat "Luna".

She's about 1000000 years old so has weird askew legs...

Anyway, it's nice having a cat on your bed :3

Until...

Ultimate cat-vom.

Cleaning cat vomit from my carpet at 7a.m (everyone's favourite hour). At least she had the decency to move from the bed...

The "Onesie" experience.

New comic designs

As I've said before, working on a new comic. Here's a couple ideas. Mainly because the opening scene involves a forest I was looking at different and interesting trees. I want a thin, simple line and a good colour concept for this comic, I want it to look very different from "Machination".
I'm thinking about colouring this in water colour wash, for a more earthy feel :)

Doodle

Dusting off the tablet, been writing more than drawing. So here's just something that I was warming up with.

Character design

Been thinking up a new story for my next comic. This fleshing out of one of the main characters helps me to visualise when writing the story. I like both versions, I would love to do a comic with just white and blue, or something along those lines.

Short comic

I made this to enter a short comic competition, but then realised I had to send it off, and couldn't email it. So that was annoying, but now I can just show everyone. It was done whilst I was moving house, so took a couple of weeks to complete here and there.

Tumblr

Hey guys, been on tumblr for awhile but never really sorted out to look all fancy! Here is the link: http://stephseed.tumblr.com/

Posters!

I ordered my posters from http://awesomemerchandise.com/ . They came in this amazing packaging
which I thought was a really nice touch. The posters are matte 300gsm, and look great! Very pleased.
Anyway here are some photos of my little box of goodies.

Book!

My book arrived yesterday :D A hard back and a paper back. They look pretty cool, it's awesome to have the final product in my hands!

Oh Slender man, why you so mean?

.....and this "Slender" beauty.... which is just hilarious, and very similar to our situation: http://youtu.be/aXwkfSmYkf4

Showreel 2012

Haven't done much animation this year, since I've been busy comicing!

But here's my up to date showreel :)

Machination

Hey, ho, bloggers and buddies.

I finally finished Machination! I can't believe it, this year has been full of ups and downs, it's been really crazy the amount of work I've put into this. I even had to become a hermit for a few months towards the end....

Anyhoo here is the front cover, soon it will be available to buy if you are inclined to!

You jelly?

Been home for awhile and I go to the beach down the road roughly everyday (and somehow have finished all my work! Woo!) But there is a problem in Gibraltar, because the Tuna has been over fished there's a bit of a jelly-fish epidemic this year. So you can say no to swimming some days, UNLESS the Jelly Fish Queen appears. She was this little old lady with a net, wading into the sea (whilst being surrounded by jellies) and just collecting them and flicking them out. She was amazing. Also her body made no sense because she was quite a chunky old lady, but had these buff athlete type younger person legs...

Anyway, here she is for you to admire!  hahaha

Mermaid

Because I'm working night and day on my comic, I thought I'd share this, something I did for Luke awhile ago now! Was for his birthday.

Preview part 2

Been neglecting my blog a little bit as all my time has been taken up by "Machination". I'm hoping to have all the pages of the book finished in about 3 weeks time, ready to be printed (hoping for earlier but being realistic). I ran out of ink tonight, which is rather frustrating!

Anyway, here are a couple of pages from "Machination", they're from totally different chapters, also I have removed the text because it might contain some spoilers ;)

Book binding

So my friend Sarah taught a few of us how to book bind the other day. I made a little book out of my script to flip through whilst I work, it's been very useful. I also made (with much help from my friends) a stitch bound hard back sketch book, which I love because it has a dragon ball z cover !

Anyway the whole experience was fun and done on a few hours sleep, here's the result-

Zelda Chicken

People who play Zelda will hopefully get this (or they haven't played it enough...)

Preview

Here is a preview of a few pages from "Machination", my graphic novel for my MA course. The reasons the styles differ is because it is a few different stories intertwined, through time travel and such, tis a complicated little tale. Really enjoying working on it.

^ This style is the main design ^

^ Need to fix a few things here ^

Painting Practise

Some warm up drawings, before the real work begins! :O
