Doodle

Wanted to draw something that had nothing to do with my MA project, just for a change, find myself filling sketchbooks of my characters face...
I think I spent too much of my time on this though, so cut it short. I kind of like the sketchy ness of it, and you can see my attentions or where they were going in this way.

Might finish it some day, but right now have to focus on my project!

Layout/final idea

I needed to come up with the sort of layout that the comic will have, still working on the look but I think the characters you see here are more or less the final designs for a few of the main characters.

Critic is more than welcome.

Machination mock up

Very quick cover design for my comic, here I was just paying with the style more than anything. I really like how Nad, the girl, is looking and the other character needs a little work.

Concept

This is a bit of a character design for my comic. There's a scene where the character finds herself in an expensive dress, which is a very new feeling for her. Anyway, this isn't anything how I really want her to look but I liked the style of it. Need to explore what she looks like, going to the opposite ends of what I've originally envisioned with this design..

Molmot's human form..

So I have this sock monkey called Molmot, I think that's all you need to know.

 I made up a doodle of what she thinks she looks like, but she really looks like the thing in the bottom right corner.

This is supposed to be funny, I don't think of my sock monkey as a person....

Script writing for my comic has scrambled my brain.

Graphic novel stuffs

Here are a couple pages from my rough storyboards for my graphic novel, so here's a sneak peek. We had to board our projects for a university module, it was good because I got to practice story boarding, although the comic page will not be to this layout. The two pages don't follow on from one another either...
